Key Responsibilities :

• Strong Understanding of low frequency electromagnetic fundamentals.
• Good knowledge of electric motor design principles and methodologies.
• Characterize machine performance for basic sizing and performance estimations using analytical tools.
• Analysis and validation of designs with FEA calculations in both 2D and 3D.
• Proficiency in ANSYS Motor-CAD, ANSYS Maxwell or similar FEA tools. ANSYS Opti slang proficiency is an added advantage.
• Good understanding of mechanical, thermal, structural & NVH aspects of motor design. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure motor design meets specifications.
• Prototyping and Manufacturing of the motors for POC verification.
• Conduct testing and analysis to optimize PMSM motor performance and efficiency.
• Platform motor design modification to meet new requirements.
• Tear-down and Benchmarking of Motors
• Continuously evaluate new technologies and design improvements to develop the most power dense, efficient, low cost, and reliable electric motor.

Ideal Candidate :

• B.E/ B.Tech (EEE) with 3-5 Years of Experience in Electromagnetic Motor Design, Prototyping & Testing for Electric Vehicle.
