Role Summary

As we continue to advance the seamless integration of computer vision technology within our electric vehicles, we are actively seeking skilled Android engineers to play a pivotal role in redefining the next era of computer vision functionalities for infotainment applications based on in-vehicle camera systems. This position is dedicated to crafting user experiences that not only promote safe and confident driving but also empower our customers with cutting-edge AI capabilities rooted in computer vision.

Responsibilities

  • Design and build Android applications for camera, media, and vision technologies.
  • Deliver quality code, debug complex problems, prioritize, and get things done with efficiency and urgency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across multiple engineering and algorithms teams.
  • Stay open-minded, constantly dive into innovative technologies, and embrace the ambiguity of complex problem solving.
  • Help coaching and mentoring new team members.

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering or related technical field
  • Proven Android app developer with 4+ years of experience 
  • Proficiency in Java and Kotlin programming languages.  Familiarity with C++ is a plus.
  • Understanding of camera processing and computer vision pipelines is a great plus.
  • Knowledge of Android design principles and application interface guidelines
  • Possessing good architecture skills like API design, design pattern and code reusability
  • Familiar with revision control, code review and build tools like Git and Gradle
  • Software development life cycle experience, from requirements gathering through to implementation and maintenance.
  • Faster learner with curiosity for new technologies and knowledge in CV/ML/AI.
