Role Summary

The Senior Lead, Influencer Comms will lead strategy and execution of influencer engagement, both earned and paid, working closely with the Senior Director of Product Communications and the Director of Consumer Product Communications. This role will be responsible for driving influencers to amplify the key narratives and values of the Rivian brand, working across creative direction, content creation, distribution, and campaign optimization.

This role will work cross functionally across Communications, Content, Integrated Marketing, and Growth Marketing (and respective channel leads) to build the Rivian brand while driving demand for our products. This candidate will be a thought leader and subject matter expert on the influencer landscape across social platforms, understand trending cultural conversations, and be a collaborative relationship builder who is able to manage and prioritize multiple projects at a time.


Responsibilities

  • Maintaining Rivian’s high integrity of creative output, while driving the creation of authentic influencer content.
  • Define and establish a playbook and scalable workflow for engaging with influencers that ladders up to overall communications strategies and key narratives.
  • Lead the day-to-day work with an influencer agency to execute campaigns. Manage budgets for content creation.
  • Oversee contract negotiations with influencers alongside an agency to ensure we come to agreements that best deliver on our goals.
  • Spearhead the metrics and data analysis on content performance to meet business objectives.
  • Identify and build strategic relationships with social influencers and influencer agency partners to produce both organic and paid content.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of professional experience in influencer campaign work, with a proven track record of driving business results.
  • Experience using analytics tools and delivering data-driven insights.
  • Ability to set long-term strategy, clear goals, and KPIs.
  • In-depth knowledge of social media and influencer marketing platforms, tactics, agencies, and talent.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Creative thinker, with the ability to quickly assess opportunities and challenges, and the ability to innovate.

Pay Disclosure

Salary Range for California Based Applicants: $159,000 - $199,000 (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law).

Salary Range for New York Based Applicants: $173,000 - $200,000 (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law).

Benefits Summary: Rivian provides robust medical/Rx, dental and vision insurance packages for full-time employees, their spouse or domestic partner, and children up to age 26. Coverage is effective on the first day of employment, and Rivian covers most of the premiums.
