Role Summary

At Rivian we are looking for a People Specialist to join us at our Belgrade Hub and to be part of our International People team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to be part of a growing team that is supporting an even faster-growing organization.

You will have the chance to collaborate with Talent Acquisition, Payroll, IT and many other functional partners to ensure a positive employee experience. You will be responsible for maintaining a positive employee experience by responding to inquiries and providing day-to-day support in areas covered by the People team.


Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with People, Learning & Development, IT, Technical Departments, and other functional partners to ensure all employees have an appropriately positive experience during onboarding and offboarding.
  • Responsible for ensuring all critical administrative transactions and documents are prepared, accurate and processed in a timely and legal manner (e.g. employment contracts, annexes, termination of employment documents, job descriptions, documents related to occupational health and safety, preparation and maintenance of onboarding for new employees and other relevant documentation).
  • Ensure excellent communication and support for employee questions and
    problems.
  • Proactive in creating, maintaining, revising employees' files, and ensuring company compliance with labor laws and regulations.
  • Assisting local Payroll team by gathering relevant payroll documentation and data.
  • Work on maintaining the HRIS database and current digital employee records and prepare relevant HR reports.
  • Assist in implementing the People Team's annual processes (compensation,
    employee performance discussions, employee engagement surveys, etc.)
  • Participation in various People projects

Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of HR operational experience
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills
  • Proactive and process oriented
  • Strong communication skills in local language and English are a must
  • Experience with Workday is a plus
  • Exceptional attention to details and self-organisation skills
  • Enthusiasm for process improvement and strong problem solving skills
  • Strong understanding of Serbian Labour law
  • Advanced Excel skills
