Role Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Go-to-Market Program Manager to lead and coordinate the successful launches of Rivian products such as new vehicle variants, options, model year updates, special editions, and other initiatives. In this role, you will work cross-functionally with teams across our website, software, marketing, communications, sales, and product development, and training to ensure all aspects of the launch are seamlessly executed. This is faced paced and dynamic environment, success means navigating ambiguity, managing complexity, and operating autonomously. This role sits within the Product Strategy team and will work alongside product managers for our vehicle lines and digital products within the commercial organization.


Responsibilities

    • Program Management: Develop, lead, and coordinate the end-to-end go-to-market process for product launches. Define project scope, timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
    • Cross-functional Coordination: Collaborate with teams across digital marketing, communications, product management, sales, and training to align on launch strategies, messaging, and execution.
    • Launch Execution: Ensure all departments are synchronized for the launch, from the development of marketing materials and digital assets to the coordination of dealership sales tools and training for staff. Identify and raise necessary escalations.
    • Data and Reporting: Identify KPI’s for each launch, gather data from teams, and generate reports to assess the success and suggested improvements.
    • Continuous Improvement: Implement best practices in program management and post-launch evaluations to enhance future launches and streamline processes.

Qualifications

    • Experience: 7+ years of program management experience, preferably in the automotive or a related consumer facing industry. Experience coordinating managing large-scale product launches is highly desirable.
    • Education: Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, engineering, or a related field. MBA or relevant advanced degree is a plus.
    • Technical Skills: Strong project management tools experience and proficiency in data analysis.
    • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to diverse teams and executives.
    • Attention to Detail: Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a focus on delivering high-quality results on time.

Pay Disclosure

Salary Range for Palo Alto, CA Based Applicants: $159,200-199,000 (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law).

Benefits Summary: Rivian provides robust medical/Rx, dental and vision insurance packages for full-time employees, their spouse or domestic partner, and children up to age 26. Coverage is effective on the first day of employment, and Rivian covers most of the premiums.
