Role Summary
Reporting to the Sr Manager of Learning & Development at Rivian, the Lead L&D Program Manager will play a key role in delivering and scaling leadership and onboarding programs at Rivian and VW Group Technology, LLC.
As a member of the Enterprise Belonging, Learning and Talent Team at Rivian, this generalist role will be focused on creating and supporting sustainable learning & development programming and resources for Rivian and VW Group Technology, LLC. High priority programs include virtual onboarding, manager onboarding, and leader development programs. The Lead Program Manager will work closely with the Rivian learning and talent team to duplicate and customize programs existing at Rivian, in addition to creating net new resources and programming for both companies. This role requires the ability to both program-manage and build assets for employees at various levels.
The ideal candidate has deep experience in program management, onboarding programs, facilitation, leadership development, learning measurement strategy and reporting, stakeholder management, and intake and consultation, learning asset development.
Responsibilities
- Proven ability to manage programs for new and existing employees, and deliver projects successfully
- Excellent grasp of onboarding and learning tools and systems, including how they work together in order to diagnose and propose solutions to issues.
- The ability to create guides, eLearnings, one-pagers, and other learning assets in support of learning programs. Articulate Rise and Google Workplace experience preferred.
- A strong preference for innovation, iteration, and pushing the envelope of what great learning programs looks like at Rivian and VW Group Technology, LLC
- A “builders” mentality and the ability to work under ambiguity delivering learning programs that fit current and future business needs
- A data-driven approach to measurement and continuous improvement
- Deep understanding of leadership development topics, frameworks, and philosophies
- Experience launching and delivering leadership development solutions and programs at all levels of leadership
- Full-cycle ownership of blended learning solutions
- Create and present all program reporting and briefs outlining learning strategy, objectives, content, assessment, and evaluation criteria
- Deep facilitation experience at all levels of leadership and new hire audiences
Qualifications
- 8+ years of program management experience, preferably supporting a corporate onboarding or leadership development program. People manager experience preferred.
- Experience with global audiences and stakeholders
- 3+ years learning & development experience
- Experience designing, building and implementing learning programs
- Experience in program-specific LMS administration (Cornerstone preferred)
- Strong written and oral communication skills, applied to internal marketing and communication strategies
- Proficient with basic eLearning and asset development software (Articulate Rise, etc.)
- Proficient with publishing tools and software applications (Google Workspace, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.)
- Proven track record of operating independently, managing multiple complex stakeholder relationships, strong ability to predict learning needs, and execute at a high level of quality
- Works well in virtually connected, fast-paced, and oftentimes ambiguous environments
- Experience facilitating workshops and running train-the-trainers
- Experience developing content for deployment in a learning management system and company-wide intranet
- Bachelor’s or Master's degree in a relevant field such as Org Development, Learning Design, HR, etc.
Pay Disclosure
Salary Range for California based applicants: $149,700 - $187,100 annually (Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location and other factors permitted by law).
Benefits Summary: Rivian provides robust medical/Rx, dental and vision insurance packages for full-time employees, their spouse or domestic partner, and children up to age 26. Coverage is effective on the first day of employment, and Rivian covers most of the premiums.
