About Rivian

Rivian is on a mission to keep the world adventurous forever. This goes for the emissions-free Electric Adventure Vehicles we build, and the curious, courageous souls we seek to attract.

As a company, we constantly challenge what’s possible, never simply accepting what has always been done. We reframe old problems, seek new solutions and operate comfortably in areas that are unknown. Our backgrounds are diverse, but our team shares a love of the outdoors and a desire to protect it for future generations.

  • Analyze intercompany and consolidated results; provide variance analysis and performance insights.
  • Implement process improvements to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of intercompany and consolidation functions.
  • Ensure compliance with SOX and support internal and external audits.
  • Supervise and coach accounting staff, providing training and guidance on evolving policies and best practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Related Field

  • 7+ years of progressive experience in accounting, with at least 2-3 years in a management or supervisory role.
  • Deep knowledge of US GAAP, intercompany accounting, and financial consolidations.
  • Experience with foreign currency translation and multi-entity global structures.
  • Strong understanding of internal controls and SOX compliance.
  • Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and financial reporting tools (e.g., BlackLine a plus).
