Role Summary
The Process Lead in Global Business Services (GBS) will be responsible for overseeing process compliance and the smooth execution of Indirect AP processes including those managed by offshore resources in India. This role focuses on ensuring high-quality service delivery, Leading process improvements, monitoring performance and ensuring that KPIs and agreed-upon SLAs are met across the assigned processes.
Responsibilities
- The Global Business Services (GBS) Process Lead – Indirect AP is responsible for managing the Day-to-Day AP Activities and all aspects of AP Processing for Indirect Suppliers. This role will partner with GBS AP Manager to drive strategy for streamlining processes as well as monitoring Process compliance to Process & Procedures, Internal Controls (including SOX and Access Controls).
- Partnering with respective Process Owners to perform business process re-engineering, requirements definition gathering, process analysis and design, workflow analysis, and developing as-is and to-be business processes.
- Collaborate within and across the organization on company-wide initiatives revolving around Finance transformation (people, process, technology) through establishing strong relationships with all levels of the business / cross-functional stakeholders, managing stakeholder expectations and facilitating discussions to ensure information flow, transparency, collaboration and effective execution of solutions aligned to business needs.
· Primarily responsible for:
- GBS Process Documentation
- GBS Process Improvements
- Monitoring/Reporting of GBS Process Metrics and KPIs
- Monitoring/Reporting of Service Partners Service Delivery & Quality
- Define, Track and monitor key process metrics to ensure that offshore resources in India meet performance targets.
- Identifying process bottlenecks, delays, or inefficiencies that need addressing.
- Conduct root cause analysis to understand process deviations or performance issues and provide recommendations for corrective actions
- Lead the Identification and implementation of opportunities for process improvements and streamlining workflows.
- Work closely with processing team (including offshore teams in India), providing them with the data and feedback needed to maintain process quality and alignment with GBS Process standards (DTP and Quality Framework)
- Conduct regular quality checks to ensure accuracy and consistency in process execution
- Collaborate with the offshore team to address issues and support critical escalations/concerns
- Provide training and guidance to offshore teams to ensure adherence to best practices.
- Serve as the owner of assigned business processes, responsible for their full lifecycle, from planning and execution to monitoring and improvement including collaboration with Business Stakeholders on their needs, dependencies and improvement opportunities.
- Oversee compliance with our internal SOX Controls and operational excellence standards.
- Responsible in supporting Audits (both internal and External)
- Conduct all activities in accordance with the Company values, code of conduct, policies, and compliance requirements.
Qualifications
· 8+ years of progressive responsibility within accounts payable, disbursements, and Accounting.
· 8+ Years meaningful experience in managing and leading a Team.
· 4+ years’ experience in leading Processing Improvements and Initiatives.
· Broad understanding of modern P2P and O2C environments and related technologies
· Expertise in process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, BPM, etc.).
· Experience with shared services and or AP/AR outsourcing preferred
· Strong leadership and communication skills, with experience leading cross-cultural teams.
· Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail.
· Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams and Stakeholders
· Experience with Coupa and SAP is a plus
Pay Disclosure
Salary Range for Illinois based applicants: $89,900 - $112,400 annually (Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location and other factors permitted by law).
