Role Summary
This role is pivotal in driving alignment and supporting strategic and operational initiatives within the Service Parts team. You will collaborate closely with Demand Planning, Material Planning, Channel Planning, Global Strategy, and Global Distribution leaders to ensure cost-effective end-to-end supply chain strategies that maximize uptime and enhance customer service.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Partnership:
- Partner with functional leadership to provide strategic insights and support decision-making.
- Develop and execute cross-functional strategic plans aligned with company goals.
- Act as the service parts liaison for special projects and voice of customer initiatives.
- Integrate sales and operations processes with key business partners.
- Conduct quarterly business reviews with stakeholders.
- Operational Excellence:
- Drive process improvement, standardization, and innovation within the supply network through supply chain domain knowledge
- Lead change management initiatives for new processes, technologies, and organizational structures.
- Optimize meeting effectiveness through clear agendas, quality content, and actionable follow-ups.
- Develop and track KPIs to measure team and project success.
- Collaborate with accounting on excess and obsolescence forecasting and execution.
- Communication & Collaboration:
- Facilitate clear communication between leadership, teams, and stakeholders via structured plans (newsletters, meetings, announcements).
- Manage program risks and issues, implementing corrective actions with partners.
- Lead staff meetings and workshops for focused discussions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a supply chain related field
- 5+ years of experience in strategic roles within tech, automotive, or related industries, with a track record of increasing responsibility
- 3+ years of project or program management experience
- 2+ years of experience driving clear and consistent communications across business units
Preferred
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically and translate complex concepts into actionable plans
- Strong leadership acumen, with experience managing cross-functional stakeholders and influencing at all levels of an organization
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build high-trust relationships and navigate complex organizational dynamics
- Bias for action; a propensity to drive items to closure without sacrificing quality or timeliness
- Adaptability and resilience in the face of rapid change and ambiguity
Pay Disclosure
- Salary Rate for California Based Applicants: $125,000 to $156,000 $ (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law).
- Benefits Summary: Rivian provides robust medical/Rx, dental and vision insurance packages for full-time employees, their spouse or domestic partner, and children up to age 26. Coverage is effective on the first day of employment.
