The Rivian Internal Mobile Application team is dedicated to empowering our employees with seamless, high-performance tools. You will contribute to building the mobile foundation that helps our teams stay connected, efficient, and mobile-ready, directly impacting Rivian's internal operations.

• Mobile Development: Contribute to the development of our internal mobile applications using TypeScript and React Native.
• UI/UX Collaboration: Work closely with UX/UI designers to transform wireframes into immersive, responsive, and user-friendly mobile interfaces.
• Performance Optimization: Develop high-quality code with a focus on mobile-specific constraints, including memory usage, battery efficiency, and smooth animations (60 FPS).
• Quality Assurance: Write meaningful unit and integration tests to ensure a high-quality bar and a stable mobile experience.
• Continuous Improvement: Participate in code reviews and collaborate with the team to adopt best practices in mobile architecture.

• Core Fundamentals: Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and functional programming patterns.
• Frontend Expertise: Experience with TypeScript and modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Mobile Focus: Familiarity with React Native (or a strong desire to master it) and an understanding of the mobile lifecycle.
• API Integration: Experience working with RESTful APIs to fetch and manage data.
• Quality Mindset: Familiarity with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, React Native Testing Library).

Nice to Have
Previous experience with state management libraries (Redux, MobX, or React Context).
Knowledge of native mobile development (iOS/Swift or Android/Kotlin).
A passion for the electric vehicle industry and sustainable technology.
