About the role:

As our Designer at Safi you'll:

  • Be responsible for the UX of all of our products.

  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and stakeholders to improve user flows (internal tools and consumer facing app)

  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for web and mobile applications that align with user (internal and customers) needs and business goals.

  • Implement and launch a design system, including the creation of UI components and patterns.

  • Present and communicate design concepts and rationale to stakeholders and team members. Bring high degrees of thoughtfulness

  • Iterate on designs based on feedback.

  • Balance time and prioritisation to generate the highest quality output.

  • Work closely with developers to ensure the designs are implemented accurately and to a high standard.

  • Work strategically with other team members on special projects

  • Understand the tradeoffs between the perfect design and solving for the customer and defaulting to the understanding our Frontend Engineers have.

Requirements:

  • You are a self starter and thrive in ambiguous environments

  • Proficiency in Figma. Adobe Creative Suite, Framer, and other design and prototyping tools a bonus.

  • Ability to manage ambiguity, work autonomously, and multi-task in a fast-paced environment

  • Excellent product intuition and vision

  • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills

  • Strong understanding design principles - great at UX design

  • Experience conducting user research and usability testing
