We help farmers, energy generators, and insurers make better decisions with exceptionally accurate 2-52 week weather forecasts. Our award-winning machine learning is grounded in decades of research at MIT/WHOI to produce actionable insights. As a seed-stage venture-backed startup, we are growing rapidly and looking for curious and motivated creators so the world can forecast further.
Job Responsibilities
Location
● Remote OK (US/Eastern working hours)
● Preference for US based in AK, CO, IL, MA, MN, MO, NJ, NH, NY, NC, OK, RI, TX, VA, WA
Job Requirements
Core Qualifications:
● A portfolio of real-world deep learning (e.g. diffusion) AI projects
● Experience with Python and at least 1 AI platform (e.g. PyTorch)
● US work authorization, if US-based
Additional Qualifications:
● Familiarity with our domain-specific tools:
● Geospatial data (e.g. NetCDF, GeoTIFF, GeoJSON, PostGIS)
● Earth science (e.g. xarray, Dask)
● Cloud platforms (e.g. GCP, AWS, Azure)
● Experience with atmosphere/ocean/climate data and methods
● Knowledge of source control, issue tracking, testing/CI, orchestration
● Previous experience with startups, agile/scrum, software teamwork
