Facilities and Robot Fleet Coordinator at Scythe
Scythe is looking for a talented individual who is well organized and willing to learn and operate in a growing start-up environment. The positions main objectives will be to track, organize, and establish the companies various operational assets. We have developed an industry-changing machine and have customers knocking down our door for units, so we're looking to scale our production quickly and get thousands of reliable autonomous machines out into the world where they can change how we take care of all our outdoor space.
As a Facilities and Robot Fleet Coordinator, you will be responsible for tracking, maintenance coordination, sourcing, and aiding in new company endeavors for facilities and support vehicles across multiple states. This is a new role, and you will be expected to establish the foundations of what a skilled and professional facilities and fleet coordinator can do. You will work directly with the Field Operations Manager and closely with the rest of the field operations team, finance, and corporate support team.
Our main headquarters is located in Longmont, CO with operating facilities in both Austin, TX and Vero Beach, FL with more locations scheduled to open in 2024. Travel will be required for this position up to 15% of the calendar year.
What you’ll do at Scythe
- Track and coordinate existing facility activities for HQ and regional hubs, to include but not limited to:
- Maintenance and Repair Work Orders
- Capital Expenditures
- Safety and Compliance
- Permitting
- Billing
- Inspections
- Assist Field Operations Manager in sourcing new facilities in designated markets.
- Track and support existing support vehicle requirements, to include but not limited to:
- Title and Licensing
- Planned and Unplanned repairs and maintenance
- Training/Operator checklists
- Vehicle allocations by region
- Assist Operations Manager in sourcing new support vehicles in designated markets.
- Assist in intra-office shipping and receiving coordination for non-headquarter locations
What you know
- Experience with project management and leveraging tracking software to ensure timeline accuracy
- Experience working across many functions with multiple stakeholders and staying organized throughout it all
- General familiarity with facility maintenance and repairs
- General familiarity with proper cargo loading/transportation, trailer operation, and truck and trailer preventative maintenance daily practices (PMDs)

- Moderate to extensive facilities management.
- Moderate to extensive work coordinating and managing office administrative tasks.
- Moderate to extensive work communicating with external stakeholders and documentation.

Scythe is a total compensation company, which provides employees a comprehensive salary, equity, and benefit package. However, only the minimum salary amounts are listed here. Scythe carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors, including education, years of experience, competencies and other relevant business considerations. These considerations can cause your compensation to vary along with your compensation mode preferences. The Facilities and Robot Fleet Coordinator position has an expected minimum hourly rate of $26.00 per hour. The actual pay may be higher depending on your skills, qualifications, and experience. Equity and benefits packages are NOT included in this estimate. Please note that this information is provided for those hired in Colorado only.
