Shift EV is a fast-growing electric vehicle technology company, based in Cairo, Egypt. Our vision is to accelerate the adoption of electric vehicles in Egypt and the region by developing state-of-the-art electric drivetrain solutions. You will work with world-class technology veterans from MIT, Maersk, Intel, and General Motors to build a venture with transformative potential.


As an Account Manager at Shift EV, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the satisfaction and success of our clients. Your primary focus will be on cultivating strong client relationships, identifying growth opportunities, and facilitating seamless communication between clients and internal teams to drive overall client success.


Client Relationship Management:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, nurturing and strengthening relationships to foster trust and loyalty.

  • Understand clients' business objectives and collaborate with them to develop tailored solutions that align with their needs.

  • Regularly communicate with clients to gather feedback, address concerns, and ensure high levels of satisfaction.

  • Identify and pursue upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing client accounts.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Effectively manage and resolve conflicts as a great manager, ensuring seamless communication between clients and internal teams

  • Ensure high customer satisfaction, retention and renewal

  • Act as bridge on marketing and partnership opportunities, as well as financial and operational issues.

  • Utilize your understanding of CRM for efficient solutions, driving customer satisfaction.

  • Showcase expertise in account management principles to meet and exceed client expectations.

Performance Monitoring and Reporting:

  • Track and analyze key metrics related to client satisfaction, retention, and revenue growth.

  • Provide regular reports and updates to leadership on client account performance and status.

  • Utilize CRM platforms and other tools to maintain accurate records of client interactions, opportunities, and progress.

  • Leverage data-driven decision-making skills to interpret and communicate success metrics effectively.


  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.

  • Between 5-10 years of experience in an Account Management or Client Success role, preferably in a technology or automotive industry.

  • Proven track record of building and maintaining strong client relationships, with a focus on driving client satisfaction and retention.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels.

  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing client needs and challenges.

  • Proficiency in English and Arabic, both written and verbal.

  • A self-starter with a customer-focused mindset and a passion for delivering exceptional client experiences.
