YOU’LLWORKON:

An EV charging Field Service technician plays a crucial role in the growing infrastructure for electric vehicles. your primary focus is on safely and effectively installing charging stations at various locations.
YOU'LLHAVEOWNERSHIPOVER:

Site Assessment: visits potential installation locations to assess the electrical capacity and determine the appropriate charging solution including electricity upgrades and charging infrastructure approaches.

System Design and Planning: collaborates with electrical engineers to design the electrical layout for the charging station, considering factors like power needs and wiring requirements.

Equipment Installation: Takes over the installation of the EV charging unit. This includes physically mounting the unit, connecting it to the electrical panel, and running necessary wiring.

Testing and Commissioning: test the charging station to verify its safety, performance, and functionality according to relevant regulations.

Customer Service: interact directly with clients, understand their electrical needs, and explain technical issues in an understandable way. Also, provides recommendations and ensures customer satisfaction.

Documentation: keeps detailed records of their work, including service reports, parts used, and repairs performed. This ensures clear communication and helps maintain a history of the electrical system.

Customer Demonstration: provides a brief demonstration to the client on how to operate the charging station.

YOUARE
Educational Background: You should ideally be a qualified Electrician with a diploma in electro-technical services and a basic high school college qualification.

Experience level: between 3:5 years of experience in an Electrical site technician role

Electrical knowledge: A strong understanding of electrical systems and safety principles is essential.

Construction skills: The ability to work with tools, mount equipment, and follow construction plans is necessary.

Attention to detail: Precise work is crucial to ensure safe and functional charging stations.

Communication: Clear communication with colleagues, engineers, and clients is important.
