Shift EV is a fast-growing electric vehicle technology company, based in Cairo, Egypt. Our vision is to accelerate the adoption of electric vehicles in Egypt and the region by developing state-of-the-art electric drivetrain solutions. Working with the Facilities and Maintenance team, you will play an important role in maintaining our equipment and infrastructure to the highest standards.

YOU'LL HAVE OWNERSHIP OVER:

• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance tasks on machinery, equipment, and facilities.

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and facility issues to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.

• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests to address critical issues and maintain a safe working environment.

• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment manuals, and inventory of spare parts.

• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while performing maintenance tasks to minimize risks and ensure compliance.

• Collaborate with team members and other departments to coordinate maintenance activities and support ongoing operations.

• Provide training and guidance to staff on proper equipment operation, maintenance procedures, and safety practices.

• Identify opportunities for process optimization and equipment upgrades to enhance reliability and efficiency.

YOU ARE

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree preferred.

• Proven experience as a maintenance technician or similar role in a manufacturing or industrial setting.

• Strong electrical, and troubleshooting skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• You can work in a rapidly changing and dynamic environment.
