About the role:

Job Title: Account Manager

Experience: 5+ years

Location: United States (Remote)

Department: Sales

Reports to: Chief Revenue Officer

We are looking for an Account Manager to drive automotive software sales across North and South America. In this role, you will be instrumental in establishing and nurturing relationships with senior leaders from automotive OEMs and building a robust sales pipeline.

What you’ll do:

  • Meet or exceed annual sales targets while maintaining a focus on customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Identify, qualify, and manage sales leads, ensuring a robust and healthy sales revenue pipeline.
  • Develop and execute sales and business plans to achieve annual objectives, providing accurate and timely reports and forecasts to the leadership team.
  • Identify and qualify potential customers, actively penetrate targeted prospects to expand the customer base.
  • Develop a team-selling approach, acting as a liaison between customers and internal teams, including pre-sales technical specialists, inside sales, and customer service.
  • Identify opportunities for growth and expansion within existing accounts, driving increased sales and market share.
  • Work closely with marketing, product, and other sales teams to align on strategies, maximize profitability, and ensure product-market fit.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify challenges and opportunities.
  • Analyze sales data, generate reports to track progress, and present insights to internal stakeholders for strategic decision-making.
  • Manage negotiations, pricing discussions, and contract renewals, focusing on building long-term, mutually beneficial partnerships.
  • Address customer concerns or issues promptly and professionally, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction throughout the sales process.

What you should know:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
  • At least 5+ years of experience in sales or account management, preferably in a B2B environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent sales and customer service skills with proven negotiation skills.

Additional Information:

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $95,000.00 - $110,000.00 + bonus + equity. Our salary ranges are determined by role and level. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum range for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Please note that the compensation details listed in US role postings reflect the base salary only, and do not include equity, benefits, or any discretionary bonus components.
