Job description / Responsibilities –

• Financial Research: Conduct in-depth financial research on industry trends, competitors, and market conditions to provide valuable insights for decision-making.
• Data Analysis: Analyze financial data using tools like Excel, SQL, and other data analysis software to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities.
• Dashboards and Reports: Create and maintain financial dashboards and reports to visualize and communicate key financial metrics and performance indicators. SQL Database Management: Work with SQL databases to extract, clean, and manipulate data for various financial analysis purposes.
• Pivot Tables: Utilize Excel pivot tables to summarize and analyze large datasets efficiently. Business Analysis: Assist in business analysis by examining financial statements, cost structures, and revenue streams to provide actionable recommendations.
• Financial Forecasting: Support the finance team in developing financial forecasts and budgeting models.
• Financial Modeling: Build and update financial models to evaluate the impact of various scenarios and make informed financial decisions.
• Review invoice for completeness and proper approvals. Authorized approvers are the Department Heads.
• Ensure that all expenditures are properly coded.
• Ensuring Timely and appropriate payments to the vendors with prior approval of the respective department heads.

Requirement –

• Strong analytical skills and a passion for financial analysis and modeling.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and complex formulas.
• Basic knowledge of SQL for data extraction and analysis.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Enthusiastic and eager to learn about finance and business analysis.
• Prior internship or coursework related to finance is a plus.
