Role Description

The Director of Business Development will identify new business opportunities, expand strategic partnerships, and drive revenue growth. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of climate tech and contribute to the success of a pioneering startup.

A successful individual in this role will drive strategic growth by expanding market presence, forming strategic partnerships, and achieving revenue growth targets. They will lead a high-performing team, mitigate risks, and ensure environmental and ethical responsibility while contributing to the company's mission of revolutionizing copper production.

What You'll Do:

● Develop and implement a strategic business development plan aligned with our mission and objectives.

● Identify and establish strategic partnerships, collaborations, and alliances with industry players, investors, and technology providers.

● Coordinate between internal technical team and external partners to align key technical targets with customer requirements.

● Provide industry insights into the engineering and scaleup of our solution.

● Develop and manage revenue growth initiatives, including pricing strategies,sales targets, and performance metrics.

● Negotiate contracts, agreements, and licensing deals to secure valuablepartnerships.

● Lead efforts to acquire new customers and expand our client base, bothdomestically and internationally.

What You'll Bring:

● Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field (MBA preferred).

● Minimum of 7 years of experience in business development, preferably within themining or metallurgy industry.

● Demonstrated success in identifying and closing business deals andpartnerships.

● Strong understanding of the copper industry and emerging technologies.

● Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.

● Willing to travel regularly to meet with customers and engineering firm partners.
