About the Role:

We are seeking a Product Manager to join us in shaping the future of our product offering.

Reporting to the CEO and working closely with engineering, the ideal candidate will have a track record of prior success contributing to product strategy, defining product requirements, and building out the product roadmap at a venture-backed B2B SaaS company.

Responsibilities:

● Develop a clear and cohesive product vision and strategy that aligns with company objectives and market trends.

● Oversee the development and execution of product roadmaps, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs.

● Drive prioritization of features, enhancements, and innovations based on market demands and competitive landscape.

● Collaborate with cross-functional teams including leadership, engineering, and sales to ensure successful product development and launches.

● Stay current with market trends, customer feedback, and competitive intelligence, translating insights into actionable strategies for product differentiation and growth.

● Provide input into product or module launch plans, messaging, pricing, packaging, and cross-functional readiness.

Requirements:

● Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.

● 3-6+ years of product management experience, of which 3+ were at an early-stage VC-backed enterprise software startup.

● Ability to work independently, roll up your sleeves mentality, and be adaptable to fast-paced start-up environments.

● Equally comfortable in front of a customer interviewing them to understand a product requirement as you are with documenting that requirement for engineering to execute.

● Proven experience with agile/shape-up development processes.

Preferred Qualifications:

● Degree or coursework in chemistry, chemical engineering, or another hard science that will provide context into the product and user personas, and/or computer science for interfacing with the engineering team.

● Prior experience developing software products for the pharmaceutical industry or other chemical-based industries. Including, but not limited to, laboratory information management (LIMS) software, electronic laboratory notebooks (ELNs), pharmaceutical data analysis software, or pharmaceutical manufacturing software.

What We're Looking For:

● A user-focused individual committed to delivering exceptional service and support.

● An analytical thinker with a passion for data and its implications in the chemistry field.

● A proactive team player who enjoys collaborating with clients and internal teams to drive success.

Salary and Benefits:

● Competitive salary and company equity package.

● Health benefits.

● Opportunities for internal promotion.

● Small, collaborative team environment with plenty of autonomy.

● Fully remote team.
