ABOUT THE ROLE:

SUPERCIRCLE is excited to expand its leadership team with a Director of Sales. This new position will report into the Chief Commercialization Officer and will require a strategic leader to craft strategies and execute for all enterprise B2B partnerships and bulk inventory recycling clients for SUPERCIRCLE, including lead generation, sales materials, and go to market strategies. The ideal candidate is a connected people-person and results-oriented operator. In this leadership role, you’ll have wide-ranging ownership of B2B business development strategy, sales pipeline, and executing against marketing and commercial strategies aimed at driving business growth. We have big ambitions to rapidly scale volumes and client count, and are looking for a strong leader who will set the vision to achieve our goals through revenue generation and growing our partner funnel. You’ll thrive in this role if you are a driven, self-motivated, team player who is inventive, hands on, and executes with excellence.

WHAT YOU’LL ACCOMPLISH:

  • Develop, own, and execute SUPERCIRCLE’s Sales Strategy and exceed sales targets.
  • Engage with prospective brands and nurture strong strategic relationships with current and future SUPERCIRCLE brand partners.
  • Create a pipeline of strategic retail partners for SUPERCIRCLE to sell into and grow purposefully
  • Own the sales process from outreach, developing and customizing commercial recycling programs, negotiation, post-sales execution and renewal.
  • Onboard strategic partner brands and retailers to the larger SUPERCIRCLE reverse logistics platform and work closely with operations teams and internal champions to win bulk inventory solutions contracts.
  • Negotiate terms, structure relationships, and work closely with the rest of the SUPERCIRCLE team to launch new partnerships.
  • Create strategies to help the team monitor partner activity and analyze performance, identify areas of improvement and recommend ways to increase adoption and revenue.
  • Develop and manage pitch materials in concert with the marketing team, including decks, models, and work with SUPERCIRCLE Tech team on demos for potential partners.
  • Work closely with the rest of the SUPERCIRCLE team to forecast, measure and report the results of all strategic business partnerships.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

  • Experience in sales and business development, in addition to a proven-track record in successfully launching and scaling B2B offerings.
  • 7-10 years of relevant experience.
  • Proven ability to open doors, close deals, and maintain strong relationships with both clients and operational partners. Existing relationships in fashion is a plus.
  • Experience improving processes and making recommendations to support an organization scaling at a rapid pace.
  • Experience creating, implementing and managing a partnerships pipeline, as well as leading internal and external partners in the execution of the funnel.
  • Strong strategic, analytical thinker with outstanding verbal and written communication skills with the ability to distill complex information into key insights & summaries (you have perfected the “elevator pitch”.)
  • Impeccable presentation, communication and analytical skills.
  • Must have a “no task is too small” mentality and the ability to thrive within a fast-paced startup environment, balance competing priorities, and create structure and processes.
  • A self-starter who can take the initiative and run with it, bringing a positive attitude to your work and authentic enthusiasm to your team.
