Sr Staff Product Designer

We’re looking for a Senior Staff Product Designer to help shape the future of our product experience. In this role, you will lead complex, multi-team initiatives, define long-term design strategy, and elevate the standard of quality across our product ecosystem.
You’ll partner directly with senior leaders in Product and Engineering to create clarity, align on vision, and bring intuitive, cohesive experiences to life. This is a role for a designer who operates at a strategic level while staying grounded in exceptional craft and systems thinking.
What You’ll Do
Lead design strategy and execution for large, multi-product or multi-system initiatives.
Define long-term experience vision, frameworks, and standards that scale across teams.
Partner with senior Product and Engineering leaders to shape strategy, roadmaps, and priorities.
Drive alignment across teams through structured facilitation, storytelling, and clear rationale.
Mentor and coach designers across levels, helping them grow their craft, influence, and strategic thinking.
Improve design quality, consistency, and efficiency through systems, tools, and processes.
Advocate for customer needs through evidence, insights, and thoughtful design decisions.
Demonstrate measurable impact on user outcomes, customer experience, and business results.
What You’ll Need
Minimum Qualifications
7+ years of experience in Product Design
Strong portfolio showcasing complex systems, end-to-end ownership, and high-impact work.
Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in a related field
Expertise in UX, interaction, and visual design, with strong fluency in design systems and accessibility.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience leading cross-functional initiatives that span multiple product areas or teams.
Ability to communicate design vision clearly and persuasively to partners at all levels.
Strong facilitation skills — able to create alignment in ambiguous or high-stakes environments.
A systems thinker who connects the details to the bigger picture and designs for scale.
A collaborative, humble, curiosity-driven leader who builds trust across disciplines.
A strategic mindset with the ability to link design decisions to outcomes for customers and the business.
Travel Requirements and Working Conditions
Reliable internet access for any period working remotely, not in a Workiva office
Up to 10% travel
How You’ll Be Rewarded
✅ Salary range in the US: $177,000.00 - $284,000.00✅ A discretionary bonus typically paid annually
✅ Restricted Stock Units granted at time of hire
✅ 401(k) match and comprehensive employee benefits package
