We are a dynamic and rapidly growing company seeking a results-driven Field Operations Engineer to support our Synop Link. This role is ideal for an individual who is able to support pre-sales, implementation and ongoing performance of Synop Link’s site controller deployments. This is a great role to aid in cross-functional initiatives and be immersed in a fast-growth start-up in an exciting space!
About You

Must have prior experience in the EV/energy/commercial fleets sector

What You'll Be Doing

Pre-sales support
-
Serve as the subject matter expert on the capabilities of the Synop Link site controller. Provide technical contributions to RFPs and grant proposals

Gather customer requirements and map to current and planned Synop functionality.

Support Go/No-go determinations, create deployment schedules, and

Device Deployment
-
Coordinate with providers of other hardware/software that Synop Link is integrating with for monitoring or control, and contractors and other supporting vendors.

Manage shipment of devices and enablers (SIM cards, power supplies, site-specific housing and cabling) to sites.

Install and configure Link devices. Implement and test integrations.

Customer Support

Monitor system performance.

Troubleshoot technical issues

Plan and schedule maintenance updates.

Monitor customer feedback.

Identify and prioritize feature enhancements.

What You'll Bring To The Role
-
4+ years of experience in a combination of solutions engineering, technical integrations, or onsite hardware support.

Strong understanding of:
-
Unix commands & basic scripting
-
Calling APIs via cURL or other tools
-
IT, local networking, configuration of IPs and troubleshooting local network issues.

Basic knowledge of electrical systems & low power systems.
-
Accessing devices via SSH, reading & exporting logs
-
*Base salary and total compensation are dependent upon many factors, such as: skills, experience, and relevant past roles and will be discussed during the initial interview. The approximate salary for this role will be around $100,000/ annually.
