The Role
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven National Account Sales Leader to join our team in the HVAC industry. The ideal candidate will develop and manage relationships with national accounts, provide technical expertise, and drive sales growth through consultative solutions. This role requires a balance of technical HVAC knowledge, strategic sales acumen, and excellent interpersonal skills.

The Role
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven National Account Sales Leader to join our team in the HVAC industry. The ideal candidate will develop and manage relationships with national accounts, provide technical expertise, and drive sales growth through consultative solutions. This role requires a balance of technical HVAC knowledge, strategic sales acumen, and excellent interpersonal skills.
What You’ll Do
Account Management:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with national account clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships
- Act as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and providing technical support
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within national accounts to meet or exceed sales targets
- Create tailored ventilation and dehumidification solutions to meet client needs, leveraging company products and services
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to expand market share across assigned account base
- Provide technical consultation on HVAC products, systems, and solutions, including energy-efficient and sustainable options
- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure solutions meet client specifications and industry standards
- Conduct presentations, product demonstrations, and training sessions for clients
- Monitor market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities
- Prepare sales forecasts, account plans, and activity reports for management
- Work closely with marketing, engineering, and operations teams to ensure seamless execution of projects and client satisfaction
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings

Experience
Required Skills and Experience:
- 5+ years of sales or account management experience in the HVAC industry, with a focus on national or key accounts
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Experience with HVAC systems, components, and solutions (DOAS, VRF, chillers, etc.)
- Strong technical understanding of HVAC systems, energy efficiency, and building codes
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans
- Proficient in CRM tools, Microsoft Office Suite, and other sales-related software
- Analytical skills for interpreting data, market trends, and customer needs
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Professional Engineering (PE) license or HVAC-specific certifications (e.g., LEED, ASHRAE, NATE)
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a strong drive for success
- Ability to build trust and establish long-term relationships with diverse stakeholders
- Strong problem-solving skills with a customer-centric approach
- Willingness to travel nationally (50-75%) to meet client and business needs
