We are hiring a Head of Product and Customer Marketing to join our team! The Head of Product and Customer Marketing will play a critical role in laying the foundation for Treehouse’s go-to-market strategy. You will build a deep understanding of Treehouse’s target partner segments, our unique value propositions and the critical role we play in the electrification ecosystem, and build out foundational messaging, collateral, partner programs and content strategy to effectively engage and grow relationships with these partners. In addition to your core Product Marketing responsibilities, you will own and refine our lifecycle marketing strategy to drive lead funnel efficiency with our end customers. This role is ideal for an experienced marketer who can wear multiple hats, can operate independently in a fast-moving environment, and who is excited about shaping Treehouse’s marketing organization from the ground up.

The Head of Product and Customer Marketing will:

  • Build archetype-specific value props, messaging, sales decks, and marketing collateral for Treehouse target partner segments
  • Conduct partner and customer research to understand target audiences and their pain points to inform positioning and product strategy
  • Create scalable partner-facing programs to support growth in key segments (e.g., onboarding programs and content, incentives/competitions, and other growth strategies)
  • Develop strategy and content to effectively target Treehouse partner segments across our owned properties (e.g., Treehouse website, LinkedIn, etc.)
  • Build and implement lifecycle marketing strategy to drive lead funnel efficiency, including customer segmentation, channel strategy (email, SMS, social, etc.), content strategy and development
  • Build thoughtful upsell and cross-sell campaign strategies and content
  • Maintain effective feedback loops between Marketing, Business Development/Sales and Product

Successful candidates will demonstrate:

  • 6-10+ years experience in a Product Marketing, Customer Marketing or equivalent role
  • Experience building out persona-specific messaging, positioning and supporting content
  • Proven track record launching scalable GTM programs directly impacting revenue
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally with sales and product teams to drive revenue/product adoption
  • Strong written, verbal, and visual communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills, with experience using data to make decisions
  • Ability to think strategically as well as the tendency to roll up your sleeves to manage execution
  • Ability to thrive independently in a fast-paced, early-stage company environment
  • A Bachelor’s degree

Preferred candidates will further demonstrate:

  • Functional experience in both Product Marketing and Customer/Lifecycle Marketing roles
  • Prior people management experience
  • Prior experience in an early-stage startup environment
  • A passion for electrification and/or energy sustainability

This position may be in-person or hybrid in San Francisco or Chicago or fully remote.
