The Preventive Maintenance Planner/Administrator provides support to the engineering and maintenance functions by collecting, organizing, and reporting data, and preparing and planning maintenance activities accordingly. This role may be assigned to other projects by the Maintenance Supervisor or Operations Manager as needed.

Essential Functions
- Assist with physical and administrative preventative maintenance on equipment
- Assist with repairs on equipment as needed
- Tracking downtime issues dealing with maintenance related items
- Handling scheduling of preventative maintenance Items.
- Oversee or perform general housekeeping.
- Effectively control and manage inventory.
- Create and refine preventative maintenance lists for both existing and new assets/equipment,
- Manage data collection and analysis and provide historical reports.
- Management of Limble computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
- Work independently under limited supervision (self-management).
- Document maintenance work schedules and work tasks.
- Other duties may be assigned as needed.
- Previous experience with preventative maintenance systems and procedures.
- Previous experience of electronic Maintenance Management Systems (e.g. Limble) preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Good analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Good project management skills.
- Experience with product manuals; ability to interpret and apply knowledge to make repairs.
- Strong adaptability and capacity to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to create detailed reports and presentations.
- Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.
- Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Completion of an Industrial Maintenance course (e.g., certification program, technical/community college) is an advantage.
- Experience with mechanical systems (e.g., gear boxes, chains, seals, bearings) is a plus.
- Experience with basic electrical systems (e.g., starters, fuses, contacts, relays, motors) is a plus.
- Experience with conveyers (air cylinders, diverters, sensors, motor/speed controls) is a plus.
- Experience with hydraulic systems (high pressure cylinders, pumps, valves, troubleshooting) is a plus
- Experience with pneumatics (solenoids, cylinders, motor brakes, reading, troubleshooting) is a plus.
- Experience with pneumatics/air compression (e.g., valves, cylinders, etc.) is a plus.
- Experience working in team-based environments (working together with others).
