We're seeking a passionate Integration & Test Engineer to join our Hardware team in Emeryville, CA. We're building groundbreaking technology that transforms yarns directly into seamless 3D-woven garments in minutes, allowing for near zero-waste, on-demand manufacturing.

What You'll Do

As our Integration & Test Engineer, you'll work across multiple teams to ensure our systems meet rigorous quality and performance standards. Your key responsibilities include:

  • Lead development and execution of test plans that validate system requirements, with a focus on hardware-software integration
  • Build and maintain automated test frameworks for motor control and sensor systems, using Python and embedded systems
  • Create clear, comprehensive documentation for test procedures and results that can scale with our growing deployment needs
  • Drive system validation and debugging efforts during hardware bring-up and development
  • Collaborate across teams to ensure requirements are met and testing methodologies continuously improve

Ideal Qualities

  • 2-3 years of experience in test engineering with a background in electrical engineering or similar technical field
  • Proven experience with test equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters) and hardware-in-the-loop testing using embedded systems
  • Strong programming skills in Python for test automation and experience with motor control systems
  • Excellent documentation abilities and attention to detail in testing procedures
  • Demonstrated success in cross-functional collaboration and technical communication

Bonus Points:

  • Experience with automated test development in manufacturing environments
  • Background in industrial automation or real-time control systems
  • Familiarity with textile manufacturing or quality assurance
