Why This Role Matters
As Senior Product Manager for Software, you'll own VegaOS and critical software projects that power our revolutionary 3D weaving technology. Your work will directly enable the scaling of unspun's manufacturing capabilities, helping us transform apparel production with zero waste and reducing the global carbon footprint.
What Success Looks Like
Imagine our machine operators confidently using intuitive interfaces to produce custom garments while our manufacturing partners efficiently manage production through seamless software systems. Your impact will be measured in:
- Developing production-ready components of VegaOS that drive measurable improvements in manufacturing efficiency
- Creating a seamless, foolproof machine operator experience that scales across multiple manufacturing sites
- Building and maintaining strategic software systems that enable our partners to design and produce innovative fabrics
- Contributing directly to carbon reduction by enabling waste-free manufacturing technology
A Typical Day Might Include
- Collaborating with software engineers to prioritize and develop VegaOS components
- Conducting customer interviews to gather insights and feature requests for our manufacturing tools
- Working with automation and operations teams to refine machine operator experiences
- Updating and communicating product roadmaps to cross-functional stakeholders
- Analyzing metrics to drive data-informed product decisions
- Having lunch with the team (we're a pretty social bunch!)
Who You Are
Software Product Management: 5+ years of experience managing complex software products
Customer-Driven Development: Strong track record of gathering and implementing customer feedback
Technical Leadership: Experience collaborating with engineers and delivering production-ready software
Systems Thinking: Ability to understand integration between software and hardware components
Cross-Functional Collaboration: History of working effectively across multiple teams

Bonus Points
- Experience in fashion, textiles, or manufacturing software
- Familiarity with hardware-software integration

- Experience deploying software to international manufacturing environments

Benefits
The salary range for this role is $154,000 - $169,000 plus equity benchmarked to the 75th percentile of startups our stage and size.
