  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D, Quality, Supplier Quality, Manufacturing, Marketing) to launch new products and improve existing ones.

  • Provide technical support for component obsolescence, product compliance, and field quality issues.

  • Coordinate with customers and government agencies on regulatory and technical matters to maintain trust and transparency.

  • Develop and maintain regulatory documentation, including test plans, reports, and certification files.

  • Engage with standards development bodies (e.g., ANSI) on development of metering standards.

  • Coordinate all product compliance activities and requirements with government agencies and public utility commissions.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 7 years of engineering experience in hardware product development within utilities, AMI, smart grid, or IoT industries.

  • Proven experience executing regulatory compliance for electronic products.

  • 3+ years of experience coordinating regulatory compliance activities, including standards engagement (FCC, IC, UL, RoHS).

  • Strong ability to work collaboratively across teams and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.

  • Demonstrated accountability and agility in managing multiple compliance projects simultaneously.

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • Master’s degree in Engineering or related field.

  • Professional Engineer (PE or P.Eng) certification.

  • Experience influencing standards development and contributing to industry innovation.

  • Familiarity with global regulatory frameworks and emerging compliance trends in connected utility products.
