Title : Logistics Specialist.
Location : Bangalore, India.

Experience : 3 to 10 years relevant experience required.

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Inbound Transportation and Logistics Specialist to manage and coordinate the movement of goods and materials from key suppliers to our manufacturing sites. This role will support US import and US export operations, ensuring compliance with trade compliance requirements, tariffs, and transportation regulations. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that inbound transportation operations run efficiently, cost‑effectively, and with a high level of service, while maintaining accurate shipment tracking and documentation. This position works closely with carriers, suppliers, customs partners, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of goods, optimize transportation costs, and improve overall service levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute inbound transportation operations, including managing carrier relationships, scheduling deliveries, and end‑to‑end shipment tracking for domestic and US import/export shipments.
  • Collaborate with internal teams including Procurement, Global Logistics, Trade Compliance, and Site Operations to align inbound transportation activities with overall supply chain and trade compliance objectives.
  • Coordinate with carriers, suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to manage US import and US export shipments, resolve transportation issues, and ensure compliance with applicable regulations, tariffs, and laws.
  • Monitor inbound transportation performance metrics and KPIs related to cost, service, tariff impact, and delivery performance, and develop action plans for continuous improvement.
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of inbound transportation documentation, including purchase orders, bills of lading, PODs, customs and trade compliance documents, and tariff‑related paperwork.
  • Support tariff review, duty optimization, and trade compliance activities in partnership with global logistics and customs teams.
  • Assist with the management of inbound transportation budgets and forecasts, including cost impacts from tariffs and international freight.
  • Provide operational support for related logistics activities, including customs clearance, US import/export processes, and regulatory compliance initiatives.
