About the Company

Vatn Systems is a group of entrepreneurs, engineers and maritime experts disrupting the autonomous underwater vehicle (AUV) market with low cost, modular and expendable devices that allow customers to dramatically upscale underwater and surface operations. Using AI/ML technology to drive next generation navigation combined with advanced manufacturing techniques, Vatn AUVs increase capability, reduce personnel requirements and grow capacity to conduct long range underwater missions. The modular hardware and standardized software allows the user to match power, endurance and payload to the specific mission. Vatn arms users with the ability to bring sufficient mass to make maritime applications relevant at the size and scale the maritime environment demands.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Revenue Operations (RevOps) Manager with a strong background managing day-to-day operations, organization, logistics and administration. The RevOps Manager will manage daily operations of the Vatn revenue team, oversee logistics and support product expositions, demos and trade shows from time to time, some of which require on-water participation in boats. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record of managing and ensuring compliance with established processes and procedures. This is an in-person position.

Responsibilities

  • Project and Process Management
  • Ensure all Revenue section projects are executed on time and within scope.
  • Identify, implement, and refine operational processes that enhance team efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Conduct long-range planning to align team activities with organizational goals.

Data and Performance Analysis

  • Collect, analyze, and interpret data to evaluate team performance and provide actionable insights for strategic decision-making.
  • Prepare reports and performance dashboards to support leadership visibility and forecasting.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Act as a liaison between Revenue, Operations, and Technology teams to align initiatives and drive joint success.
  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to streamline workflows and share critical information.
  • Provide direct support to live, on-water expositions, demonstrations and experiments to support Business Development operations.

Team & Calendar Management

  • Manage the organizational calendar, ensuring visibility into key deadlines, events, and deliverables.
  • Oversee scheduling and time management for Revenue personnel, including tracking hours and balancing workloads.

Logistics & Equipment Oversight

  • Manage inventory, maintenance, and shipping of team equipment, including business development kits, vehicles and watercraft.
  • Ensure team members are fully equipped to perform their roles, whether in-office or remote.
  • Move equipment and products from site to site from time-to-time when shipping is impractical. Must be able to operate a vehicle and tow a trailer.
  • Oversee office organization, supplies, and maintenance to ensure a productive work environment.

Travel & Client Engagement

  • Coordinate and book team travel, ensuring cost-effective and policy-compliant arrangements.
  • Participate in product demonstrations alongside team members to support business development efforts.
  • Communicate professionally with customers and partner organizations, reinforcing brand credibility and service excellence.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, or related field; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
  • Experience: 5-7 years of experience in management and leadership roles overseeing 5-10 employees.
  • Must have a driver’s license and be able to drive long distances and tow trailers.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with government procurement portals (e.g., SAM.gov).
  • Familiarity with defense industry compliance requirements, including cybersecurity (NIST 800-171), ITAR/EAR, and CMMC.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce a plus.
  • Experience with Government Acquisitions a plus.
  • Military experience a plus.
  • Security Clearance a plus.
  • Sales experience a plus.
  • Coast Guard Captain’s License a plus.

Compensation package

Compensation: Base, equity, bonus, full benefits, 21 days vacation.
