About the team: the Community Activities team is geo-located internationally and meets weekly on Tuesdays at 10am PT. We are upgrading events to truly connect people who can help each other move ideas into action and build durable collaborations.Role Summary: Event coordinators lead about one online event every 4–6 weeks. Responsibilities include coordinating with external guests, delegating tasks across the volunteer team, and handling technical setup and support.Time commitment: 5 hours/week for 6+ months; weekly meeting attendance required.What you will do: design and deliver online community activities (events/workshops); support live delivery (run-of-show, logistics, event tech, troubleshooting); facilitate groups (moderate discussions, guide workshops/breakouts, manage Q&A, keep participants engaged); and handle behind-the-scenes ops (registration/comms, tools/links, materials, and post-event follow-up).
