Wunder currently holds more than $1 billion in solar assets under management and capital commitments. Our team has evaluated more than 10,000 properties for solar across all 50 states. Our average solar system—about 480 kilowatts in size—can offset 350,000 pounds of coal burned each year of system operation!


The Role

We have an amazing opportunity for a quantitative, detail-oriented professional to join our growing team, solve hard problems and push renewable energy forward. We’re looking for someone who works quickly and efficiently, sees the forest and the trees while managing projects, and isn’t afraid of a challenge. Our team is rapidly acquiring commercial customers and developing solar across the country alongside our national network of solar partners, and we need your help!

Specifically, you’ll work cross-functionally to help our team develop commercial-scale solar projects, deliver high-quality results for our clients, research and apply key market factors in the solar industry, and leverage Wunder’s industry-leading technology platform to achieve volume and velocity of solar project development. Your day-to-day will include, but is not limited to, managing multiple project workstreams, collaborating cross-functionally to ensure successful project delivery, and making decisions to unblock the development of commercial solar projects.

About You

  • You are a Project Management Rock Star - You have 3–4+ years of managing complex projects and have a proven track record of getting all the miscellaneous details across the finish line. You’ve managed multiple projects concurrently and enjoy taking the initiative to reduce risk and get ahead of problems before they impact project timelines or budgets. No stone is ever left unturned and every stakeholder involved knows what’s happening, why it’s happening, and when it needs to be done.

  • You’re Detail-Oriented & Organized - You’re meticulous and take a “zero defect” approach to problem solving and deliverables. You go the extra mile to ensure all the details to achieve milestones are taken care of on time and on budget.

  • You're Quantitative - You’re able to think quantitatively about project structures and economics in order to make decisions about what maximizes value for clients while minimizing risk for Wunder. You are able to build and utilize financial models to think critically about project economics and make the best decisions for the project and the client.

  • You Have a Growth Mindset - You’re not just open to new ideas, you actively seek them out. You approach every task with the ambition to learn and evolve. Your growth mindset is evident in your ability to question the status quo and drive forward with creative and effective solutions that push the boundaries of what's possible in solar development.

  • Located in Boulder or Denver, CO - Candidates must currently live in, or are willing to relocate to, the Boulder/Denver area.

Salary & Equity

The salary range for this role is $100,000 - $175,000 per year, plus equity in the form of stock options. Wunder determines the successful candidate's compensation package throughout the interview process based on experience and expertise, and the final compensation package will be discussed with the candidate during the final stages of the interview process.
