The Role

Xos is hiring an experienced NetSuite Solutions Architect to lead key organization NetSuite related projects including new implementations, enhancements, integrations, support, and other special projects. You will work cross functionally with IT, Manufacturing, and Finance teams to enhance and establish Netsuite processes.

To be successful in this role, the NetSuite Solutions Architect will perform in a leadership capacity leading project teams, being the subject matter expert, and the primary liaison between cross functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Develop vision and strategy to assess current system functionality and manufacturing capabilities , recommending solutions to enhance manufacturing performance, effectiveness, and efficiency
  • Design application and infrastructure architectures, spanning current, interim, and future states.
  • Customize application supporting Finance and Accounting operations, including integrations, and provide ongoing technical support and training to NetSuite users and business partners
  • Stay abreast of NetSuite functionality, new technology, and standards, identifying and advocating for key technologies to enhance business processes
  • Lead technical teams in designing, developing, and deploying manufacturing solutions
  • Collaborate with other IT departments to identify opportunities supporting the evolution of our manufacturing architecture
  • Document solution benefits for leadership and stakeholders
  • Optimize manufacturing processes through mapping, documentation, and iterative improvement
  • Define guidelines, standards, and solution patterns ensuring alignment with future-state architecture
  • Liaise with product owners to translate requirements into functional solutions
  • Develop expertise in assigned business domains and capabilities
  • Demonstrate self-direction within team dynamics to achieve project objectives
  • collaborate with vendors to leverage optimal solutions and talent
  • Oversee the full application development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to ongoing support
  • Design and maintain integrations with other systems, conducting unit testing and UAT
  • Ensure compliance with change management. Security, regulatory, and audit requirements
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years, Master’s degree in a related field with 3+ years of experience, or a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience
  • Minimum 5 years of manufacturing experience
  • Experience in developing process and/or discrete manufacturing business systems (ERP, PLM, MES or LIMS)
  • familiarity with the technical relationships among ERP, MES, and LIMS systems
  • proficiency in shop floor automation and executions systems, i.e. MES, plant controls
  • Experience evaluating mainstream and emerging technologies for digital business optimization or transformation
  • Leadership experience in software development and strategic business process design or improvement within manufacturing environments
