Company Overview

Imagine a piloted air taxi that takes off vertically, then quietly carries you and your fellow passengers over the congested city streets below, enabling you to spend more time with the people and places that matter most. Since 2009, our team has worked steadily to make this dream a reality. We’ve designed and tested many generations of prototype aircraft capable of serving in a network of electric air taxis. We’re looking for talented, committed individuals to join our team as we push onward toward certifying the Joby aircraft, scaling our manufacturing, and launching our initial commercial service.

Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and data-driven Material Program Manager (MPM) Intern to support material planning, BOM management, and program execution for our eVTOL aircraft programs. As an MPM Intern, you will play an active role in ensuring the right parts are available at the right time to support engineering builds, production schedules, and program milestones.

This internship offers hands-on exposure to the intersection of Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Program Management, and Data Analytics. You will help track EBOM/MBOM changes, track material readiness, analyze shortages and risks, and build dashboards and reports that enable data-backed decision-making across teams.

If you enjoy working with complex datasets, creating clear insights through dashboards, and understanding how hardware programs come together, we encourage you to apply!
